Face of Fiber in the Rockies at The Art Center of Estes Park

Here are two of the two wearable fiber art pieces I was invited to show—a Nuno Felt Long Vest and a Sculptural Hat. These were created using wet-felted one piece construction with superfine Merino wool and a variety of silks—some eco dyed and nature printed, some upcycled from vintage silk pieces.

The opening was lovely. Had the chance to meet other talented fiber artists and enthusiasts. The show runs through July 16, 2022. Felting, Weaving, Stitching, Quilting, Tapestry, and Multimedia are well represented with some wonderfully creative techniques. Go check it out and be inspired!
